Sunday round-up

March 6, 2016 by L.S. Johnson

The paperback version of Vacui Magia: Stories is just awaiting a final cover and it will be off to the races. In the meantime, the ebook is available, and I’ve had a lovely first review:

Otherwise? I’m a little tired on this rainy Sunday. We have our little stray back in the basement to hide out from the storm, but that means the feline members of the family are grumpy, which makes for poor sleep for all. I’ve got FOGcon this Friday, woo-hoo! But a lot of freelance and day job work to get through beforehand.

I’ve been thinking too about upping my writing game, lately. I feel like I’m on a bit of a plateau, and there’s so much further I could climb. I’m exploring ways to shake myself out of this comfortable rut. 2016 will hopefully produce some interesting work.

And these two articles struck a chord with me:

Two things I’m sadly familiar with, but it’s so good to see women speaking up, and it’s making me want to write in turn. A good feeling.
