swings and roundabouts

February 22, 2015 by L.S. Johnson

Querying a novel sucks.

In other news:

—short story draft finished and nearly revised/polished up now. Hurrah!

—two flash pieces of mine were orphaned this last year, so I have put them up on QuarterReads. They are older and more literary than what I’m writing now, but I’m thinking to put up a couple more in the weeks to come.

—I will be reading at FogCon on Sunday, March 8th. I still don’t know what to read. Something old, something new . . .? This is now entering the vicinity of a real dilemma. I may also have a little free something printed up on that table of flyers and such, so do have a peek if you are attending the con.

—because I am insane, I am just now outlining not only Talassio‘s sequel but a separate, stand-alone novel. Between that and the short fiction list, the 2015 workload is now about full up.

Yesterday’s break from fretting about the written word:

Feeling restored now.
