In other other news, I have finally seen the infinite war of avenging, and I liked it more than I thought I did. I made notes about stake-upping and when is something a lousy decision by a character and when is it just weak plotting. But I also saw this on Twitter today, and it resonated with me. Yes yes yes. These are the kinds of storytelling defaults that I need to interrogate in my own work, deeply, repeatedly.
